They toured on their schedule instead. In Memoriam ## The 9-to-5 Leasing Office 1946 – 2026 --- **The Standard 9 to 5 Leasing Office passed away at 5:01 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, alone at its desk.** It was raised on paper guest cards, brass keys, and the unshakable belief that renters would leave work early to find an apartment. It lived long enough to see online listings, smartphones, and same-day everything. The laminated BUSINESS HOURS sign never budged. Cause of Death Renters stopped organizing their lives around office hours a long time ago. The Warning Signs 7:40 PM The missed call. Sunday The prospect at a locked door. Vacant Ready to tour, but not until Monday. #### Preceded in Death By The voicemail telling prospects in the parking lot to call back during business hours. #### Survived By The prospects. They never stopped touring. They just stopped waiting for you to open. ## The Autopsy: What the 9-to-5 Actually Cost You Every portfolio lost something to business hours. Tours that never happened. Units that sat empty a few days too long. Leasing hours spent walking people through doors instead of closing them. The Tour24 ROI Calculator turns your operating data into a customized business case, showing the impact of increased tour volume, decreased vacancy days, and added leasing staff capacity. The 7:40 PM call that went to voicemail. The Sunday prospect at a locked door. The vacant unit that waited for Monday.
